Angel swap

I created angel ATCs for a swap, using transparencies for the first time ever. This helped cheer me up from my life, which lately has been filled with many difficulties.

Matchbox Ornaments swap

I made my first ever ornaments out of matchboxes and sent them out for a swap. Here they are.

I also picked up lots of blankets and towels for Bernie Berlin - 4 box loads, from Good Will, all for only $20.00. I will send them out in batches. She needs extra help coz the winter months are coming.

I won the lottery!

I won the ARTchix journey lottery, which means that I will receive approx. 24 ATCs from my fellow artists! I am loving this yahoo group.

I have made a very clumsy attempt to decorate the header with my artwork, and it come out HUGE! If anyone can tell me how to fix it, I'd be eternally grateful.

Journey ATC

No sooner do I get re-acqainted with this blog and decide to start uploading my art, then my computer crashed, and I lose all of my scans. I no longer have the originals, since they were all sent out as part of artchix swaps. However, I did scan them into artchix files. I will try to figure out a way to scan them back into my computer if that is possible.

For now, here is the only art that I have left: my entry into the journer swap. This entry has personal significance for me, and is based on my family's experiences in WW II.

Will we ever get our passports?

Memories of happier times when my license was not yet expired....

I can't send the applications for 2 of my children's passports because my license is expired. (How did that happen?)

So... guess what I am doing tomorrow, armed with my marriage license, utility bill social security card, pass port, etc. etc.

I have nothing better to do with my time, of course.

I begin

I have just begun this, my new blog. I am learning as I go along. I guess this will be about my family, friends and things that matter to me. Right now I have a problem. I want to post a charity badge from another website and can't figure out how. Can anyone help me? This is the link that contains the badge that I am trying to display.
